Job Title: Associate Project Engineer

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with company safety protocols
  • Create and manage punch lists to ensure project completion
  • Support the implementation of Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals to facilitate project communication
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
  • Support the implementation of the job schedule
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M's
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Construction Science, or comparable work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative

  • Willingness to travel/relocate based on project needs
