Position Overview

This is a Part-Time Float role that involves operating mammography equipment and conducting various related procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and developing film for technical quality, focusing on aspects such as density, contrast, definition, and distortion.
  • Providing clear explanations of procedures and educating patients on the importance of regular mammography for preventive breast health.
  • Maintaining accurate records and files, as well as ensuring the cleanliness and proper adjustment of equipment.

Work will be conducted under general supervision.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist and possess a current Radiology and Mammography license in the state.

Dress code is business casual or scrubs, depending on departmental requirements.
