Clinical Nurse Specialist

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a clinic setting. The successful candidate will facilitate effective communication and coordination of care between patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, and document patient histories in the electronic medical record.
- Conduct telephone assessments of patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment under the supervision of a provider.
- Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments in accordance with clinic policies.
- Prepare equipment and assist providers during examinations, testing, and treatment of patients.
- Maintain stocked supplies, sterilize instruments, and perform room turnover between cases and at the end of the day.
- Arrange referrals and prior authorizations as necessary.
- Provide patient education and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate from a School of Nursing.
- 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Skills in patient assessment, vital sign taking, and record-keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and respond to unpredictable situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
- Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
