We are in search of a Registered Nurse in Clinical Care for Long Term Acute to join our team, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients. Qualifications and Requirements

Required Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with the goal of obtaining a BSN within five years of hire.
  • Grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
  • Exemptions or extensions may be approved by the facility CNO and reported to the CNO Council members.
  • Facilities will track exemptions as necessary. RNs with ten or more years of experience are exempt.

Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred Licenses/Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty.
  • Required Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within seven days of employment start date.
