Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Proven experience in planning and executing logistics for multi-day events.
- Act as the primary contact for members, addressing inquiries via phone or email, providing necessary materials, or directing questions appropriately.
- Document and transcribe minutes during Board and Committee Meetings.
- Maintain, update, and circulate Association calendars and meeting details.
- Support the preparation, setup, and on-site management of client events.
- Assist with monthly membership reports, application processing, and member database management.
- Handle invoicing and follow up on membership dues.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including advanced Excel functions and mail merges; quick to adapt to new technology.
- Competent in internet research and navigation.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce professional business documents.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering relationships with clients, speakers, attendees, vendors, and colleagues.
- Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A service-oriented mindset, prioritizing client needs.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure.
- Skilled in managing tight deadlines, last-minute changes, and problem-solving as challenges arise.
