Sr. Supply Chain Specialist

LHH is collaborating with a prominent global wine and spirits manufacturer in the San Francisco Bay Area to find an experienced Sr. Supply Chain Specialist.

This direct hire position oversees and optimizes end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer demands.

  • Lead and oversee supply chain operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive supply chain optimization initiatives, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics operations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and ensure product availability.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure service level agreements are met and evaluate performance.

The ideal candidate will bring advanced problem-solving skills, negotiation expertise, and data analysis skills to foster productive supplier relationships and deliver measurable improvements in the supply chain.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote supply chain optimization initiatives, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and guarantee product availability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure service level agreements are fulfilled and assess their performance.

The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve company objectives, streamline processes, and reduce costs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role, preferably within the wine industry or manufacturing environment.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP or CSCA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with forecasting and planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis tools, ERP, and supply chain software (MS Dynamics).
  • Proven track record in strategic problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing process improvements.
