Facilitate discussions regarding student and school matters with parents, students, and teachers.

Guarantee adequate supervision of students during non-instructional periods.

Administrative and Fiscal Management:

Oversee campus operations in the absence of the principal.

Lead the planning and scheduling of daily school activities, including class schedules, teacher assignments, and extracurricular activities.

Monitor student attendance and collaborate with staff to address related issues.

Work with department heads to prepare annual budget requests based on documented needs.

Manage the requisition of supplies, textbooks, and equipment, ensuring compliance with district procedures.

Coordinate operational support services such as transportation, custodial, and cafeteria to meet campus requirements.

Adhere to district policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Personnel Management:

Observe and evaluate employee performance, conducting evaluation meetings as necessary.

Assist the principal in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new staff members.

Community Relations:

Communicate the school's mission to the community and seek support for its realization.

Recognize community needs and initiate activities to address them, employing effective techniques to encourage parental and community involvement.

Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise and evaluate the performance of professional staff as designated by the principal. Direct the work of teachers, custodians, paraprofessionals, clerical staff, and others as assigned.
