Hospital Educator/Employee Health Nurse

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in planning, developing, and coordinating in-service education programs for all staff. Your expertise in hospital education will be acknowledged and valued as you work closely with hospital leadership to assess educational needs, strategize effective plans, and contribute to policy development and equipment integration.

You will have the opportunity to build a career close to home and close to your heart, serving as a point-person for local schools and fostering partnerships with students on clinical rotations.

As a Hospital Educator/Employee Health Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating staff completion of BLS and ACLS certifications, managing equipment and skills stations needed for training, and training staff in new hire orientation and general hospital orientation. You will also assist with staff training, facilitate the implementation of new competencies and equipment, and provide education on compliance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements for this role include appropriate education to obtain and maintain required licensure, as well as flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, or nights as needed.
