**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at TekStream Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisition planning and contract management, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition Planning: Provide acquisition planning support services for new contracts, including identifying contracting actions and required information related to contract execution.
  • Contract Management: Develop and implement contract management strategies, including contract pricing and source selection planning, tracking, and execution.
  • Program Support: Support program reviews for contract performance and industry partner execution, and provide expertise in contracting fundamentals, legal considerations, and overhead management.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Coordinate and prepare all contract-related documents, review contract language for relevancy and appropriateness, and make recommendations to the Program Manager regarding contracting strategies.
  • Long-Range Planning: Support long-range contracting planning for assigned projects and prepare program briefings for higher headquarters.
  • Contract Monitoring and Evaluation: Evaluate or monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and update recurring contract reports, as needed, and provide support in the areas of contract monitoring, tracking, suspense, current contracting processes and procedures, and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree required.
  • Experience: Ten (10+) years of relevant experience required, with experience working on large, complex IT projects and organizations.
  • Certifications: Level III Contracting DAWIA certified or DAWIA Level II and PMP certifications.
