About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of mammographic procedures using independent judgment to provide quality patient care.
  • Operate various radiographic and support equipment, including mammographic, ultrasound, and stereotactic breast biopsy machines.
  • Protect patients from undue exposure to radiation by using lead shields and safety factors.
  • Assist radiologists in performing and producing fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Maintain quality control and quality assurance in accordance with MQSA programs and ACR, FDA, and TDH standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate competence in patient care and adapt care methods to accommodate unique patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
  • 1 year experience in Mammography.
  • Registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Mammography.
  • Current state licensure and BLS certification required.
