We are seeking enthusiastic and charismatic individuals to lead engaging science and art-themed birthday celebrations and various event performances primarily on weekends.
This role offers a fun and rewarding opportunity to gain experience as an instructor-performer for children. Events typically occur in private residences or small venues, catering to groups of 10-30 children. Additionally, performers may present captivating science demonstrations at schools, libraries, camps, and other venues, captivating young audiences.
All necessary training and equipment will be provided, and our office will manage all scheduling and bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic performances and presentations that entertain and educate children.
- Engage with children aged 4-12 in a lively and interactive manner.
- Adapt to various environments and audience types while maintaining professionalism.
Qualifications:
- A vibrant and outgoing personality.
- Experience performing in front of groups, particularly children.
- Background in theater, performance, or children's entertainment is advantageous.
- Possession of a reliable vehicle.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Availability on weekends is essential.
- Preferred: College degree or some college experience.
- Willingness to learn and communicate basic science concepts.
