Job Description

Enser Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Services Engineer Level III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning activities, including mechanical commissioning, testing, pipe flushing, and initial plant startup and testing.

The Commissioning Services Engineer Level III will be responsible for providing commissioning support to all projects, from proposal stage to project site startup and turnover. This includes reviewing project contracts and documentation, planning and scheduling personnel and resources, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with commissioning activities.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or technical diploma from a college or university, and extensive direct experience in power generation construction or commissioning. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, are essential for this role.

Additionally, the Commissioning Services Engineer Level III will be responsible for maintaining and updating internal commissioning documentation and check sheets, and ensuring accurate and complete commissioning documentation for each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commissioning support to all projects, from proposal stage to project site startup and turnover
  • Review project contracts and documentation to effectively prepare and support site commissioning teams
  • Plan, forecast, and schedule personnel and resources for site assignments
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with commissioning activities
  • Maintain and update internal commissioning documentation and check sheets
  • Ensure accurate and complete commissioning documentation for each project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or technical diploma from a college or university
  • Extensive direct experience in power generation construction or commissioning
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read and understand project drawings, P&IDs, process diagrams, and function diagrams related to engineered systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of thermodynamic and fluid dynamic principles related to Combined Cycle Power Plant
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Language Skills:

Able to analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, and clients. Multilingual in Japanese and/or Spanish would be an asset.

Mathematical and Reasoning Ability:

Strong analytical skills related to engineering problem solving. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, electronic mail required.
