School Crossing Guard

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a School Crossing Guard. As a key member of our public safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe passage of students across our city's streets.
Key Responsibilities- Assist students in safely crossing streets, using hand signals to halt traffic and escorting children across the street.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Police Department, including loitering around schools and traffic violators.
- Monitor traffic and pedestrian activity, using your knowledge of traffic laws to ensure a safe environment.
- Work collaboratively with other public safety personnel to maintain a safe and secure community.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class C driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods in inclement weather and to see on-coming cars.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and the ability to understand oral and written instructions.
