Job Title: Optometry Technician

At Classic Vision Care, we're looking for a skilled Optometry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our boutique optical shop.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patient schedules and communicate effectively with other staff and doctors
  • Pre-test patients and gather medical history
  • Take retinal photos and maintain a clean and organized exam room
  • Check visual acuities and set up the phoroptor for the doctor
  • Teach contact lens insertion and removal training
  • Order and dispense contact lenses, pharmaceuticals, and exam room supplies
  • Credit returns for contact lenses
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones and provide backup support for the front desk
  • Assist patients with eyewear purchases and dispense eyewear
  • Adjust and repair eyewear as needed

We offer a competitive salary range of $16-$22+/hr, 401k match, healthcare, paid time off, and education reimbursement.
