Position Summary
As a Senior Technical and Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of individuals by providing innovative digital financial solutions.

This remote position allows you to collaborate with a dedicated team within the Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance automation and improve the efficiency of our reporting processes while implementing new US GAAP standards as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across departments to identify potential accounting challenges and propose effective solutions related to planned business transactions.
  • Oversee business operations to ensure prompt recognition of accounting and financial reporting issues, preparing high-quality accounting memorandums for senior management and auditors.
  • Work with the COE to compile Consolidated Annual Audited Financial Statements and manage quarterly compliance and covenant reporting.
  • Assist in daily and monthly reporting to support financial closing activities.
  • Facilitate financial audits by preparing audit requests, compiling technical accounting assessments, and maintaining audit tracking reports.
  • Engage with advisory services to analyze accounting standards and evaluate the business implications of new or revised technical accounting treatments.
  • Support the development and review of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in formal and informal reviews with business units to ensure comprehensive and accurate financial statement disclosures.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions and presentations on various accounting topics.
  • Assist in evaluating, updating, and maintaining key controls over financial reporting and related reports.
  • Represent the organization as a technical expert in Consolidation and Cash Flow Financial reporting under ASC 810 and ASC 860.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong technical GAAP expertise with ASC 842, ASC 810, ASC 230, and ASC 860.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Experience in Public Company and/or Public Accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle is a plus.

Salary Range:
Compensation for this role ranges from $97,000 to $135,000 annually, plus benefits. This range reflects the expected salary for this position, considering factors such as location and experience.
