Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Night Shift Utility Person to support our operations at our facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform a variety of unskilled tasks and labor operations throughout the facility, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling, loading/unloading, and assisting in maintenance and production work.
  • Operate machinery such as skid steer, off-road haul trucks, and front-end loaders in the performance of clean-up, production, or general maintenance work.
  • Clear catwalks and walkways to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
  • Assist in maintenance work, including repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of machinery operation a plus.
  • MSHA training a plus.
  • Ability to work in small spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Physical ability to perform duties in all climates, including extreme temperatures, and to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
