About the Position
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in Human Services. You will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting their independence and self-advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to individuals in our Specialized Supports program.
- Assist with skill-building activities, such as social skills, communication, and academics.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- No experience necessary; we will train the right people.
- Minimum of high school degree or GED.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift and support body weight of any program individual with the assistance of another employee.
- MUST HAVE: valid driver's license and a CLEAN driving record and a willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.
- Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirement.
