  • Deliver patient trays while adhering to established customer service standards.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the Food Service and Nutrition Departments.
  • Assemble meal trays efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality.
  • Follow food safety practices and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Utilize hospital systems for managing patient dietary information effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support smooth operations.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards and policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of required nutrition in-service classes.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in food service preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certification in food safety training required within six months of hire.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of heavy items.
  • Exposure to various kitchen environments and elements.
