Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in systems engineering and software development to facilitate the creation, integration, deployment, and maintenance of our cutting-edge Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) systems.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams on real-world assignments that may include:
    • Conducting technical research, demonstrating concepts, and performing trade studies.
    • Managing requirements, producing technical documentation, and delivering presentations.
    • Supporting technical proposals and requests for information (RFI) by drafting technical volumes and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
    • Engaging in software systems engineering and development across various projects.
    • Developing system integration and testing plans for both laboratory and field environments.
    • Overseeing system deployments, which may involve travel to client locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in systems and software engineering, particularly in the development and support of SIGINT systems.
  • At least 8 years of formal software development experience with Angular, Java full stack, and C++ in Linux environments.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in system integration, verification, and validation of SIGINT sensors on airborne platforms.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and system demonstrations.
  • Proven experience in producing engineering deliverables such as system descriptions, specifications, and test plans.
  • Familiarity with laboratory and field testing of airborne COMINT and ELINT systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and leadership.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI or higher clearance.
  • A degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current DoD TS or TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and managing project priorities.
  • Background in ELINT/COMINT systems engineering, particularly in digital signal processing and software-defined radio.
  • Experience in developing basis of estimates for technical proposals.
  • Familiarity with program configuration control boards and earned-value management.
  • Practical knowledge of antennas, RF propagation, and calibration operations.
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with version control and defect tracking tools.
