Job Title: Senior Principal IC Verification Application Engineer

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal IC Verification Application Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Verification Application Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development and deployment of verification solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the development and deployment of verification solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop and implement advanced verification methodologies and tools.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their verification needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for verification solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Cadence remains at the forefront of verification innovation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in verification application engineering with a strong background in SystemVerilog, VHDL, and Verilog.
  • BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of verification methodologies, including UVM testbench architecture, development, and debug.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with C/C++/SystemC and knowledge of protocols like JTAG, UART, PCIe, AMBA, and DDR.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with digital design and synthesis.
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals, including architecture, micro-architecture, HDLs, and synthesis.
  • Experience with Cadence's verification tools and services.
