Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Group Practice Lead Ultrasound Tech to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medically prescribed ultrasound procedures, reviewing the work of the staff, and assisting in the supervision of the technical and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to the technical staff and facilitate patient flow through the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Direct and monitor student and clinical training.
- Demonstrate skill in equipment set-up, utilization, and proper maintenance procedure.
- Independently implement patient procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
- Effectively assess patients' information and status, and follow appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.
Requirements:
To qualify, you must have a Certification from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program: Registered as American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. A minimum of five years' ultrasound experience is also required.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this role is $104,328.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
