As a Houseman, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our common areas, restocking supplies, and delivering amenities to guest rooms.
Main Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning duties in public areas and back-of-house spaces, including restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Supply Management: Restock and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, including linens, toiletries, and cleaning products.
- Amenity Delivery: Respond to radio calls from the front office and housekeeping team to deliver amenities to guest rooms, including fresh linens, towels, and other essentials.
- Garbage and Recycling: Empty garbage and recycling bins, and remove dirty linens and towels upon request.
- Radio Communication: Carry a radio and respond to any amenity delivery requests or maintenance issues.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report necessary maintenance issues to the front office so a work order can be made.
- Spa Cleaning: Clean the spa every evening after closure.
- Housekeeping Support: Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to ensure daily housekeeping service for in-house guests.
- Operating Equipment: Operate housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, mops, and maid carts.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with the housekeeping team and other departments to ensure seamless service to guests.
- Quality and Productivity: Meet productivity standards, complete work promptly, and strive to increase productivity.
- Guest Service: Respond promptly to guest needs and take ownership of the overall guest experience.
- Professionalism: Approach others with respect, react well under pressure, and treat others with respect and consideration.
This is a hospitality business that operates 24/7, and as a Houseman, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds as part of your duties.
