Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support professional to join our team. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will perform a variety of job responsibilities including delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers, customer service, vehicle maintenance, equipment and facility maintenance work, and fertilizer blending.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment and plant maintenance, including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Load and deliver fertilizer and chemicals to customers, operate equipment to blend fertilizer, and monitor product application.
  • Ensure the proper loading and operation of vehicles in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Hazmat regulations.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, and providing backup when needed.
  • Promote and live the Simplot brand to our customers, employees, and community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years related experience and/or training
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months
  • HazMat Endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months
  • Tanker Endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months

Combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered for this position.
