Ground Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ground Transportation Monitor to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of passengers through the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers at the taxi curbside, providing accurate information and directions as needed.
- Direct passengers to the appropriate taxi or limousine service, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- Dispatch taxicabs to various loading points at the terminal, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing wait times.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, coworkers, and supervisors, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and logs, documenting any deviations from normal operations.
- Order luxury limousines as needed, logging relevant information and maintaining accurate records.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or issues immediately to your supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including glass cleaning and trash removal.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Knowledge of the metro area is a plus, as is prior airport experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and write English exceptionally well, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mathematical skills, including the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense and make sound judgments, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions:
This is a 100% outside work position, requiring regular exposure to outside weather conditions, including snowstorms and extreme heat. Employees will work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations, and must be safety-conscious at all times.
