Job Summary:

The successful candidate will utilize high-frequency sound waves and diagnostic techniques to produce images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body. These images will be used by physicians to make accurate medical diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record patient history and clinical data
  • Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to demonstrate and evaluate necessary anatomy
  • Select the right transducer, power output, and instrument gain for patient size, age, and procedure
  • Interact with interpreting physicians and provide a written or oral summary of technical findings
  • Adhere to hospital policies and professional standards
  • Promote a clean and safe environment of care

Requirements:

  • ARDMS and/or RVT registered or registry eligible
  • Previous ultrasound experience preferred

Work Environment:

This is a variable weekday and weekend position, with opportunities to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
