- Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians' orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care
- Perform assessments, monitor, and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed
- Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge
- Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment
- Demonstrate service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC
- Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience
- Current ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current
- PCCN certification preferred within 2 years in area of expertise
- Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must
