Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team at Ocean Tomo, LLC. As a Senior Analyst in our Financial Expert practice area, you will work on a variety of engagements, including financial analysis, modeling, research, and report writing. Your expertise will be applied to assist in the evaluation of emerging technologies or technology-rich corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex financial models on client businesses and products
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive research in various industries
  • Write reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentation materials
  • Attend client meetings and teleconferences
  • Review and synthesize financial, marketing, and other documents
  • Critique opposing parties' claims

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • 1+ years of experience in litigation consulting or intellectual property valuation (IP and litigation consulting experience preferred but not required)
  • Academic success - high cumulative GPA
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Great attitude and client presence
  • CPA or CFA candidates a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Superior attention to detail
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, flexibility
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
