Key Responsibilities:
• Review positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance
• Conduct and participate in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys
• Assist departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions
• Perform market analyses and provide reports and data for compensation-related decisions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, business, or related field
• CCP designation preferred or taking classes towards certification
• One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation
• Previous higher education experience a plus
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and HRIS systems
• Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred
