Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at ATMI PRECAST. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and implement workplace safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards to minimize workplace health hazards.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop excellent working relationships with production workers, managers, supervisors, and senior leaders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide Safety Training: Provide personnel with safety-related information, including training sessions, emergency protocols, and proper use of safety equipment and PPE.
  • Conduct Safety Audits: Perform safety audits and physically inspect all work areas and jobsites to identify possible safety issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare Safety Reports: Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual safety reports and present the information to management to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Management: Collaborate with management to plan and implement a safety protocol budget and develop emergency response plans.
  • Investigate Accidents: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain Safety Records: Maintain accurate safety records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish.
