Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Kids 'R' Kids Concord. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins.
  • Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Supply Management: Restock supplies and notify management of any inventory needs.
  • Health and Safety: Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly.
  • Collaboration: Assist with industrial cleaning tasks and collaborate with other team members to complete facilities maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation is essential.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
  • Communication: Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks, as well as good communication skills to interact with team members and management.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Supplying: Clean and supply designated facility areas.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Perform and track routine inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Reporting and Communication: Notify management in case of a need for repair and interventions, and make adjustments and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Supply Management: Stock and maintain supply rooms.
  • Teamwork: Cooperate with the rest of the staff and follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven working experience as a cleaner is required.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Skills: Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, integrity, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Education: High school degree is required.
