Quality Manager Job Description

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team in Starkville, MS. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing ISO and API-compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure the highest standards of quality in our industrial automation and control solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QMS to meet ISO and API standards
  • Oversee internal and external audits, driving corrective actions to maintain quality standards
  • Lead process improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Manage quality across all production phases, including plasma cutting, welding, hydraulic assembly, and paint operations
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors and engineers
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve quality issues and manage warranty claims
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management
  • 2 years of experience in quality management, preferably in manufacturing
  • Proven track record with ISO/API systems and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • CQE or Six Sigma certification highly preferred
