We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot Plant Operator Level 1 to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our distillation and reaction process equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and troubleshoot distillation and reaction process equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Manage inventory and perform paperwork transfers to maintain accurate records.
- Charge stills, perform process plumbing lineups, and package citrus oils in drums, pails, and gallon containers.
- Conduct sampling and labeling of distillation cuts, and run GC analysis on cuts and in-process samples.
- Make run condition changes and decisions based on analysis, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Food Safety Standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience in chemical processing and automated control systems a plus.
