Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Manager at NBC Universal, you will oversee the maintenance of our theme park facilities, ensuring superior show quality and customer satisfaction. You will manage maintenance personnel, activities, and budgets, including labor and non-labor resources. Additionally, you will support initiatives to improve guest and employee safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine maintenance standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA and Universal Quality Standards.
  • Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and recognition.
  • Plan, prepare, and manage assigned capital and expense budgets.
  • Secure reliable and cost-effective contracted services through scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight.
  • Establish and maintain relationships across departments to ensure highest standards of guest experience, show quality, and operational readiness.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in management or technical discipline preferred.

Experience:

  • 7 years' experience in construction, operation, and maintenance management of a large theme park.
  • 5 years of extensive experience in maintenance management of a theme park or other relevant experience required, with 5 years of direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
Maintenance Management Certification preferred. General Contractor license preferred. Technical Certification/License preferred. Your talent, skills, and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package. Universal Orlando Resort is an equal opportunity employer.
