Job Title: Staff Geologist

At Terracon, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Geologist to join our team. As a key member of our geological team, you will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting subsurface field and sampling data, including soil and groundwater, to develop conclusions concerning environmental and geologic site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site testing and make recommendations for systems design on smaller projects of minimal complexity.
  • Assist senior geologists on large, more complex projects.
  • Perform site visits, field observations, and field data collection or assignments.
  • Implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample, test, and collect data and/or document site activities.
  • Develop written proposals to clients for approval by senior level professionals.
  • Evaluate moderately complex laboratory and field data and assemble in written reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
