Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Engine Programmer to join our team at thatgamecompany. As a key member of our Engine and Game Development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and updating core systems of our game engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance game engine features
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to deliver and iterate on features
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues to increase the effectiveness of the development team

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience with C or C++
  • Experience developing a game engine (at work, school, or as a personal project)

The salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $250,000 USD annually, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
