This position is a key appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Psychology, at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Division's clinical services, research, and teaching activities.
The Division Chief will provide clinical psychological services to pediatric patients with a variety of medical conditions, allocate time for clinical research and teaching in pediatric psychology, and provide faculty resources to sustain and expand teaching, advising, and other instructional activities for the Pediatric Residency programs and the College of Medicine medical students.
This position is housed in the Division of Psychology for the Department of Pediatrics and is appointed in the Special Title Series with tenure eligibility.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical psychological services to pediatric patients
- Conduct clinical research and teaching in pediatric psychology
- Provide faculty resources to sustain and expand teaching, advising, and other instructional activities
