About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team at DHR Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the safe handling of instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures, minimizing downtime and optimizing patient outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the surgical team, including assisting with patient positioning, draping, and wound closure.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, Certified First Assistant, or Certified Surgical Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in the operating room.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
