Job Summary:
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists play a crucial role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. As an MRI Technologist at Baptist Health, you will operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images, interact with patients and healthcare professionals, and ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders.
Perform basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities.
Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation, providing technical support and documentation of relevant findings.
Greet patients and explain MRI procedures, ensuring they understand what to expect and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Adhere to MRI safety protocols, including screening patients for contraindications, ensuring proper use of magnetic field safety equipment, and monitoring for potential hazards.

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required.
No experience required.
ARRT Registration is required.
Military training graduate of JRCERT accredited program can substitute for ARRT registration requirement.

Preferred Requirements:
Two years of experience working as an MRI Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
