MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Baptist Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Perform basic image processing techniques to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities.
  • Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation, providing technical support and documentation of relevant findings.
  • Greet patients and explain MRI procedures, ensuring they understand what to expect and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Adhere to MRI safety protocols, including screening patients for contraindications and monitoring for potential hazards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • ARRT Registration is required.
  • Two years of experience working as an MRI Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
