Job Summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in the Cath Lab. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing aspects of patient care before, during, and after Cardiac Cath/EP Lab related procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and performs aspects of patient care before, during, and after Cardiac Cath/EP Lab related procedures.
  • Circulates, scrubs using aseptic or sterile technique, monitors and documents hemodynamics and patient events during procedure.
  • Assists in recovering patients as assigned to provide quality patient care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab.
  • Utilizes and manages digital x-ray equipment and archiving system.
Requirements
  • RCIS license from SC Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (LLR), as well as SC Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) within six months of hire date.
  • BLS required at hire; ACLS mandatory or completed within 90 day probationary period.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
