Overview:
As a vital member of our team at Aramark Uniform Services, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our industrial laundry facility. Your role will involve the careful and efficient handling of items entering and exiting the laundry area.

Key Responsibilities:


- Regularly empty trash receptacles in assigned locations and clean tunnel screens.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in restrooms and other designated areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces including fans, walls, lights, and equipment, and replace floor mats as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the break area and lunchroom, and transport empty barrels from the soil dock to the loading dock.
- Uphold a safe and tidy work environment while adhering to best practices in all operational activities.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule based on the demands of the Market Center.


Required Skills and Abilities:


- Ability to comprehend all necessary training, as well as written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Consistent attendance is crucial; the position may require weekend shifts and overtime as necessary.


Work Environment and Safety Considerations:


- The position is conducted in a warehouse environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, and noise.
- Reasonable accommodations will be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs, along with bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.


Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
