Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits of financial services companies, including asset management, specialty finance, and fintech clients
  • Manage multiple engagements, overseeing engagement status and ensuring timely completion
  • Identify technical accounting matters and coordinate with firm specialists as needed
  • Review work product and communicate audit status to clients
  • Maintain client relationships and develop deeper understanding of client goals and strategies
  • Manage profitability of projects and evaluate strategy for growth of the Firm
  • Assess risk and design audit procedures to engagement teams
  • Develop strategy to utilize relationships external to the firm to effectuate business growth
  • Provide insightful business advice and present oneself as a trusted business advisor
  • Develop others within the Firm through training and coaching
  • Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise

Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
  • CPA Certification
  • 12+ years of current or recent audit experience in a public accounting environment with a focus in auditing financial services clients
  • 8+ years' experience auditing companies and related organizations in Financial Services, Asset Management, Banking, Specialty Finance, or Fintech
  • Proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
  • Successful record of directing and deploying team members on multiple simultaneous engagements
  • Understanding of audit services with knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and FASB regulations
