Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our linens and uniforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment, to ensure efficient and effective processing of linens and uniforms.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and communicate needs to management.
  • Sort and treat stains on linens and uniforms using proper cleaning products and methods.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure the maintenance and repair of laundry equipment.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
