About the Role:
The Crew Leader role at TreeHouse Foods provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Running various food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures
- Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality
- Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate production activities to meet quality and productivity standards
• Supervise and train production team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and implement solutions
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plus
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
