About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Substation Construction Apprentice Lineperson to join our team at Utility Lines Construction Services, Inc. in the Substation Construction and Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment and hardware.
  • Work at varying heights above ground with proper Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Operate motorized equipment and use hand tools to perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and tools.
  • Participate in company training of all regional safety guidelines and perform all work by the regional safety policies.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience in wire stringing operations, wire sagging methods, assembly, and installation of various hardware assemblies.
  • Able to work with hands above head for extended periods, work efficiently and effectively from heights, and walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
  • Follow directions, work safely and productively, and safely enter and exit the aerial device and rear-end of the bucket truck.
