Key Responsibilities:

  • Upholds a tidy, sanitary, and secure workspace for all team members and patrons.
  • Efficiently scrapes, racks, and organizes glassware, dishware, and cutlery in the dishwasher.
  • Conducts sweeping, mopping, and washing of kitchen items using both manual and mechanical cleaning tools.
  • Disposes of waste, garbage, and recyclables from the kitchen area into designated containers.
  • Restocks cleaned glassware, dishware, and cutlery as necessary.
  • Implements dishwashing protocols and adheres to a continuous cleaning schedule for the dish machine every two hours.
  • Maintains a neat workstation and equipment, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Assists in the stocking, cleaning, and closing of all kitchen stations as instructed.
  • Restocks and/or organizes the workstation at the end of the shift.
  • Provides support to kitchen staff with preparation tasks.
  • Participates in cross-training on preparation stations and aids colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the company's offerings and updates.
  • Informs management of low inventory levels and suggests new stock; communicates any opportunities or concerns.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management or supervisors, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Understands and applies all safety and sanitation protocols as outlined in the safety program, reporting any incidents to management.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Staff Member Handbook.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience of six months to one year in dishwashing or a comparable combination of education and experience.
