Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational programs to youth and adults, with a focus on basic nutrition, food safety, and physical activity concepts.
  • Utilize approved curricula and select appropriate activities for specific audiences.
  • Work closely with community agencies to develop educational opportunities and implement policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) initiatives.
  • Serve on local school wellness committees, as needed.
  • Submit reporting and evaluation in a timely fashion.
  • Assist eligible individuals in completing SNAP applications.
Requirements
  • An associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a related field, such as nutrition, education, or human development.
  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education, with a maximum of 10 years of experience equivalent to 60 hours of college credit.
Preferred Qualifications
