We are seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Services Technician to join our team at Central New Mexico Community College. As a key member of our Business Office, Cashiers Department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our constituents, processing payments, and explaining student account-related issues.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for collecting and posting a high volume of payment transactions, receiving and calculating deposits from various departments and clubs, and maintaining security procedures to ensure the safety of funds. You will also analyze student accounts, process student refunds, and provide customer service in person, by telephone, email, instant message, or chat.

As a Fiscal Services Technician, you will support the students of CNM Ingenuity's non-credit offerings, including the Deep Dive Bootcamps, and make outgoing calls to students to collect payments and regarding late payments. You will also prepare itemized student bills upon request and perform other related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED and related experience. A higher education background, 2 years of cash-handling experience, and 2 years of customer service experience are highly preferred. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
