Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Catholic Charities Family Community Services. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and instruction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and self-determination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals, recognizing their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as medication administration, meal preparation, and personal care.
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments and document all pertinent information.
  • Engage in effective communication with individuals, promoting their emotional, physical, and personal well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and security of individuals, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • NYS Driver's License required.
