About the Role:
As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Global Medical Response, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing medical assistance and transportation to patients in need.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medical treatments, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Operate Company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and Company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and transportation services.
- Collaborate with dispatch, facility staff, and other responders to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Driver's License.
- State EMT certification and CPR/BLS certifications are required.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and patients, as needed.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to various weather conditions, noise levels, and physical demands.
